City Lifestyle's charity arm, the Kingdom Building Foundation, opens its 2026 Giving Campaign soon. Here is what it does and how to nominate someone in your community.
Every year City Lifestyle sets aside part of what the company earns to help people who are facing hardship and do not qualify for traditional assistance. That work runs through the Kingdom Building Foundation, City Lifestyle's nonprofit, faith-driven charity arm, and its yearly Giving Campaign. The 2026 campaign opens for nominations soon.
The Kingdom Building Foundation is a 501(c)(3) based in Kansas City. It provides financial assistance to individuals and families around the United States who fall between the cracks of getting help: single parents, the elderly, children with serious illnesses and others facing an unexpected hardship. Recipients are not found through applications. They are nominated by community members who see a need that would otherwise go unnoticed.
A selection committee reviews every nomination, and those selected receive support matched to their circumstances. Over the years the campaign has touched hundreds of lives, most of them people who never asked for help.
When the 2026 campaign opens, nominations are submitted at kingdombuildingfoundation.org starting in November. Think about the people in your community who are carrying more than they let on: a neighbor caring for a sick child, a widow facing an unexpected bill, a family that lost a paycheck. Tell the committee who they are and what they are facing. The person being nominated does not need to know.
